This experiential group therapy workshop with Emerson Bastos is an opportunity to reveal our hidden emotional patterns that “make us feel stuck” by reaching beyond conscious narratives. Unlike in traditional “talking therapies”, which focus on words and cognitive reasoning, this method utilises the group energy field to explore relationships and reframe unresolved issues.
Join us on the 31st of January 2026 from 10am till 6pm at Wellington Centre Hastings
The integration of the Bert Hellinger method with the Five Elements framework (Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Fire) a comprehensive path to self-discovery and healing. By addressing both systemic and energetic factors, this approach supports individuals in achieving greater clarity, balance, and a renewed sense of life’s possibilities.Participants often share how deep, transformative and safe they find the work to be.
What happens during the workshop:
No prior knowledge is required for participation. All the necessary information will be given at the beginning of the day about the process. However, it may be useful to reflect on possible points of enquiry and how deeply you would like to be involved (see below re. issue holder).
We begin with gathering in a circle. After all the necessary information has been given, one person will then be invited to be ‘an issue holder’ and explore their issue through a constellation. Usually it happens spontaneously, someone will just feel ready at that. moment. Nobody is picked from the audience against their will ☺
The selected participant has the choice to constellate an issue or the five elements, here representing five aspects of the self. They will be then led by the facilitator, to choose the members of the group to represent either an element or aspect of the issue they choose to bring. Participation in the constellation is voluntary.
Participants’ energies interact, creating an interconnected space. This work taps into the ‘Morphic Field.’ Once set in motion, the constellation becomes an independent entity, revealing internal dynamics and supporting healthy enegry flow and progress for the issue holder.
Participants benefit from the work in three ways:
By having their own constellation
- a constellation offers an opportunity to explore your issue in a new unconventional way bringing clarity and insights
By being a representative in somebody else constellation
- being part of a constellation invites you to open to others’ energies and creates a possibility to work through your own issues (it is not uncommon for representatives to report surprise about how poignant their input was both for the issue holder, and for themselves)
By witnessing the work
- as an observing party you have a unique position and insight to move the constellation forward; don’t be surprised in finding connections to your own personal experiences.
